WSL Endowment Foundation

Our Women’s Symphony League Endowment Foundation needs your help in rebuilding its resources! WSL  Endowment funds were depleted in 2010 to help meet the East Texas Symphony Orchestra budget shortfall.  Your response to our call for help in replacing the funds expended was very generous and most appreciated.  During this upcoming year by continuing your contributions in HONOR of or in MEMORY of

your family, friends and others, we will be able to completely bring our ENDOWMENT FUND money backto its previous balance. Your contribution will be acknowledged immediately to you and to those you remember.  Thank you for always considering the WSL ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION in your giving.

HISTORY:  The Women’s Symphony League Endowment Foundation
was established on October 18, 1978,  with an initial deposit of $20,000.  Throughout the years, WSL members have beenencouraged to make regular contributions to build up funds to be used in times of need or opportunity. Beginning in 1990, WSL BOARD made the decision to add funds remaining at each year-end to the ENDOWMENT balance.  Following the direction outlined in the ENDOWMENT FUND TRUST AGREEMENT,  all interest income earned within the FUND goes to the  ETSO.  The current year-end balance in the FOUNDATION is $134,092.18.

President of the BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the Foundation shall be the immediate past-president of the WSL. Joyce Hudnall will serve as Board President for the term 2010-2011. Contact her at 903-292-5243 to inquire about donating to the endowment.

Your contributions will be used wisely and well to support the ETSO and the Women’s Symphony League and music in our community. Mail your check or charge information made payable to the WSL. Include your name and address along with that of those remembered or honored to:
