The Women’s Symphony League of Tyler invites you to
The 2022 WSL BALL
The Women’s Symphony League would love your consideration to support our mission in promoting the growth of the East Texas Symphony Orchestra and encouraging music education within our community by sponsoring or donating to the Ball. We are looking forward to a fabulous 2022 Ball this year and hope to count on you as a valued partner in our community.
We are proud to have partnered with the East Texas Symphony Orchestra for over 60 years on this mission. As a part of our mission, the WSL provides up to 20% of the ETSO’s annual budget and gives out approximately $8,000 in musical scholarships each year. We also support the Link Up with Carnegie Hall, the Family Concert at the Liberty Theater, and the Jazz Spectacular that allows student musicians in the East Texas Area to have masterclasses with jazz musicians performing at the Spectacular. Along with our financial support to the ETSO, we have over 500 WSL members and approximately 100 Junior Symphony League members volunteering in our community. Together, we can do great things.
Our theme this year is “Symphony of Jewels.” The Women’s Symphony League will hold the Ball at Willow Brook Country Club on April 23, 2022. The inspiration for the Ball comes from a concert cellist turned jewelry designer, Anna Hu, after an injury. Her musically-inspired vision defines her unique creations that you can find at Sotheby’s and worn by many celebrities. She says, “the jewels come together to create the final piece just as the performers come together to create the symphony.”
The support of sponsors, participants, and guest makes the Symphony Ball a success. So please join us in supporting the Women’s Symphony League, which, for decades, has impacted our children and enabled us to bring the magic of music to East Texas.
