WSL Endowment Foundation (WSLEF)
Dear Women's Symphony League of Tyler members and friends,
As we reflect on the foresight of former WSL Members and Past Presidents, Anita Ray (1977-78), Carolyn Hammett (1978-79), Reita Simpson (1979-80), Judy Davis (198o-81), and Claudia Long (1982-83) in establishing the WSL Endowment Foundation (WSLEF) in 1978, we focus on the continuing impact of our viability and continuing goals.
In renewing our emphasis, we resume the effort, building on their legacy to further secure our significance and mission. We enclose our Call to Action to Endow, Empower, Bestow. You can be a part of the continuing legacy, honoring and memorializing the Foundation Founders, WSL Founders and those who have carried us forward, fellow WSL members, your friends and loved ones, and/or through a general donation gift.
Donations can be made here or by scanning the QR code in our brouchure. The 2026-2027 WSL Handbook will include our Call to Cause.
Together we can preserve, protect and project our mission of support and advocacy for Classical Music performance and education, engaging current and future musicians and audiences through the joy of Classical Performance.
In Harmony,
Stacey Hardin Hiles
WSL President 2025-26
Julie Odom Lindsey
WSL President 2026-27

WOMEN’S SYMPHONY LEAGUE OF TYLER
ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION
Established 1978
The WSL Endowment Foundation is a permanent fund
in which the principal (or original gift amount) is
preserved and invested forever. Therefore it provides a
sustainable, ongoing income stream for our
organization. The meaning of ‘in perpetuity’ ensures
that the initial corpus is never diminished. When
managed through prudent investment, the earnings
can be used to fund specific objectives.
As the Women’s Symphony League of Tyler builds
on 70+ years committed to our mission, “To support
and promote the growth of the East Texas Symphony
Orchestra and music education”, let us remain
dedicated to this endeavor. The WSLEF
supports financial advocacy for
classical music and music education.
Engage with the WSLEF to give voice and vision
to the next generation through directed giving:
